Between concerned stares
In a house
WhatsApp videos blaring
YouTube gurus preaching
In the heat
Of Kerala apartments
Lots to say though
We speak nothing
Close yet far
Long invisible distance
Vacation is over
Xmas and holidays
Another year beckons
Counting the days
The sun, the moon
And the earth.
The distance prevails
Time let’s out
An evil laugh
And I stand
In the silence
With a heavy heart
In the horror
Of time lapse
